The Northern Pacific Railway was a transcontinental railroad that operated across the northern tier of the western United States, from Minnesota to the Pacific Northwest. It was approved by Congress in 1864 and given nearly forty million acres of land grants. Construction began in 1870 and the mainline from the Great Lakes to the Pacific was ceremoniously completed when former President Ulysses S. Grant drove in the final "golden spike" in western Montana on September 8th, 1883. The railroad had about 6,800 miles of track and served a large area, including Idaho, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, Washington, and Wisconsin. In addition, Northern Pacific had an international branch in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The main activities were shipping wheat, cattle, timber, and minerals, as well as consumer goods and passenger transport. Offered here is a pleasant set of 5 Northern Pacific Railroad Company stock certificates in 5 different colors: blue, green, orange, red, and brown. These certificates feature exceptional intaglio printing by the National Bank Note Company, and all bear a portrait of Fredrick Billings—attorney, financier and namesake of Billings, Montana who served as the company president from 1879-1881. Sets are uniquely assembled to order but will match the quality of the items shown.

Other nonreturnable merchandise includes clearance items, personalized items, bundled items at discount rates (e.g. “4 for $20”; unless the entire bundle is returned), items marked nonreturnable at the checkout or within the product description page, and products that have been assembled

If there is a mistake with your order, or items arrive defective/damages at the time of receipt, we will take care of it and work with you to find the best solution as further described below.

  • Only outbound shipping charges for damaged orders will be reimbursed. All other shipping charges are non-refundable and will automatically be deducted from the refund credit amount.

  • Clearance merchandise, any items marked “Final Sale” or marked nonreturnable may not be returned/exchanged.

  • We reserve the right to refuse returns/exchanges of items that are not in as-new condition due to damage or misuse by the customer.

  • Each returned item must be in its original condition and packaging to be accepted.

  • We are not liable for any return packages that may become lost or stolen in transit. Please keep proof of postage and/or return tracking number when shipping back returns.

  • After we have processed your return, reimbursement is generally issued within 5-7 business days.
