An inspiring collectible celebrating the birth of the nation. The front of this knife's wood-grain handle frames the Indian Head Cent in the stars and stripes of a waving American flag. Imagine the battles this penny might have seen, Bull Run, Gettysburg, or Vicksburg.
The Civil War Indian Head Penny was minted from 1861 to 1865. It is over 150 years old. The copper Indian Head Cent was designed by James B. Longacre and features Lady Liberty wearing a headdress. Legend has it the model for Lady Liberty was Longacre's daughter.
The obverse of the penny shines in the wood-grain handle. The knife blade is 3" long. A stainless steel blade is not sharpened when shipped.
