This distinctive pocket watch has been beautifully crafted with the look of yesteryear. The front of the engraved square case houses the obverse of a genuine U.S. coin. The Buffalo Nickel was minted from 1913 to 1938 and even today remains a nostalgic favorite. Artist James Earle Fraser used a composite American Indian profile to create the noble obverse and depicted docile bison Black Diamond, a famous denizen of the Central Park Zoo, on the reverse. Open the watch, and the coin's beautiful reverse design is visible inside the front cover. The face of the watch adds to its look of antiquity, but its quality quartz movement is strictly state-of-the-art. This exquisite pocket watch hangs from a 30-inch chain with a 3-inch extender and a lobster-claw clasp. Includes a one-year warranty along with a Certificate of Authenticity.
