America's Silver Dimes Designs includes the last year of issue for the following coins, Silver Barber Dime, Silver Mercury Dime and Silver Roosevelt Dime. The Silver Barber Dime, officially the Liberty Head Dime, was designed by Charles Barber and was last minted in 1916. The legendary Mercury Dime last minted in 1945 was one of the new coinage designs mandated by President Theodore Roosevelt at the beginning of the twentieth century. Struck of .999 Fine Silver and originally called Winged Liberty, the new coin got its popular name from Liberty's resemblance to Mercury. The Silver Roosevelt dime was last minted in 1964. The Roosevelt dime was first released on Franklin D. Roosevelt's birthday to honor the late President. This collectible set is handsomely displayed in a 3 x 5 acrylic case. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
