Over 100 Years Old, this silver coin is a wonderful addition to any collection. A genuine Silver Barber Dime minted from 1892 to 1916 is the focus of this rare piece. The coin was designed by Charles E. Barber the chief engraver of the mint. It is composed of 90% silver. Minted at the New Orleans Mint which operated from 1838 to 1909 with interruptions during the Civil War. The New Orleans Mint has a deep and varied history, it was closed during the Civil War and during Reconstruction. It is housed in a protective sealed acrylic case. Includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
