The 1986S Statue of Liberty Centennial Commemorative Silver Dollar Proof Coin was minted in San Francisco. It features the Statue of Liberty beside Ellis Island on the obverse and liberty's torch on the reverse. The phrase "Give Me Your Tired, Your Poor, Your Huddled Masses Yearning To Breathe Free" is also on the reverse. It was designed by artist John Mercanti. The silver coin is graded PR67 by AACGS. The 1986S Statue of Liberty Centennial Half Dollar was minted in San Francisco and designed by Edgar Steever and Sherl Joseph Winter. This elegant copper-nickel commemorative coin was created in honor of the 100th anniversary of the dedication of the Statue of Liberty to the United States. The Statue of Liberty stands proudly overlooking the growing New York skyline as the sun is setting on the obverse and an immigrant family is depicted on the reverse. The copper-nickel coin is graded PR67 by AACGS. The Commemorative coins come in a protective sealed acrylic case.
