A great gift for your teacher, the Teacher's Stamp Collection is a tribute to education as provided by the United States Postal Service. The historical collection contains six postage stamps issued from 1956 to 1985. The mint condition non-cancelled stamps honor the theme of education beginning with the 1956 Booker T. Washington stamp. Washington was the founder of the prestigious Tuskegee Institute and an African American educator. The set also includes a 1957, 3-cent stamp honoring the teachers of America. The historical, educational and collectible set is housed in a black, vinyl protective portfolio for easy display and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
