These well-preserved Silver relics tell the story of the Roman Empire. Dated from the second and third centuries A.D., each coin features a portrait of the ruler under whom it was minted. Our collection includes Septimium Severus, A.D. 193-211; Caracalla, A.D. 198-217; Gordian III, A.D. 238-244, and many more. The coins include the silver denarius, which is about the size of a modern quarter, and the silver antoninianus, which is somewhat larger. A genuine silver Roman coin is mounted in a silvertone pewter bezel with goldtone fleur de lis lending the pendant a sophisticated two tone finish. The charm measures approximately 1.25 by 1.12 inches and hangs from an 18 inch gold tone saturn style chain with a 3 inch extender and a lobster claw clasp. The A Certificate of Authenticity is included. The necklace comes in a white jewelry box.
