The American Credo stamp series contains six mint state United States Postage Stamps housed in a 4x6 inch black, vinyl wallet style portfolio. The stamps were issued in 1960 and 1961 and are quotes from historic heroes of the republic. The quotes are from historic speeches and writings by George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Frances Scott Key, Abraham Lincoln and Patrick Henry. A Certificate of Authenticity is included on the card.
