The United States Mint started the American Women In Quarters Program in 2022. The eighth woman in the quarter series is Eleanor Roosevelt, an author, first lady, and social activist. The Washington Quarter was first minted in 1932. The Eleanor Roosevelt quarter was released in June 2023. The reverse displays Eleanor Roosevelt and the scales of justice beside her. The images are inspired by her social justice reform and represent what she believed in. The bezeled women's quarter hangs from an 18 inch paperclip style goldtone chain with a 3 inch extender and a lobster claw clasp. The necklace comes in a white jewelry box and includes a Certificate of Authenticity. All years and mint marks will vary.
