Product Information
Franklin Mint’s “Official Banknotes of Every Nation” was issued beginning in the early 1980s.
New Uncirculated banknotes were purchased directly from the national governments, then sealed in a protective cachet, with both sides of the banknote visible through an archival mylar window. Additionally, the cachet contains a postally-cancelled stamp from the country of issue. The cachet is printed with informative information about the country, including a dot-ink map.
Every banknote is at least 20 years old - but remarkably still in Gem Uncirculated condition, just as on the day it was issued. Many of these notes are no longer in circulation, and will never be issued again. In fact, even many of the national currencies have changed since these panels were assembled.
The photographs are representative. There may be differences in banknotes, stamps, and postmarks.
